Good luck !
Wasn't aware the F6 came out. Not sure how "big" of an upgrade it is? Other than a few new displays, seems to have the same sensors, etc? What am I missing?
Pace Pro inclusion is a big update for some of us (trail runners). The 6 also looks like it'll be able to last an ultra on a single charge as well. That's quite a big deal.
36% bigger screen
60hrs of GPS vs 32
15% thinner, smaller strap lugs
faster
32GB for maps and music
new FirstBeat metrics
new Elevate OHR sensor
solar charging in one model
In other words, nothing much, really. The bad side is the new screen renders most ICQ stuff useless, so there are just a few available apps etc. More of a beta testers unit than the others. Tempted, but still on the fence ;)
So funny to take a look at the Fenix 6 cathegory here and seeing all the issues and disappointment pop up again as it was with the Fenix 5+. :-D
True, the Fenix 6 got some enhancements, but who owns a Fenix 5+ REALLY ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT NEED TO UPGRADE and WASTE another 500...1000 €!!!
Or you are one of these who love to say "Goodbye my hard earned 1000 € for a week of good feeling" and then waking up and anger about wasting your money :)
I'm sure glad I don't have as much anger in my life caused by a sports watch company as you (and many with you) seem to have.
Show me a product with a perfect launch. Ever.
Seems you are one of the super happy guys who don't care how much they pay and if the product is working or not
I can assure you that is not the case.
Sure, I've encountered bugs, but they've been fixed, and in the big picture my F5+ has been performing as promised. If not, I would have sold it and moved on by now instead of still be hanging around here digging myself deeper into my own misery.
