5s+ and varia vision

I have a Fenix 5s+ for running. Now starting cycling so do I need a cycling computer eg edge as well? Anyone have experience of using varia vision heads up display for cycling without a bike computer? It is an older piece of kit so not sure if not many sold/used or is it due an update.

I use that combo (got it this summer), and it works great. I also use the Varia radar, very useful to have connected to your Vision (the approaching car vibration alarm works well on the glasses, too.) With Vision and your regular Fenix display, you can split data fields between those you want to consult at all times (Vision), and those you check occasionally (watch). Some data, like the climbPro feature, or maps, do not display on the Vision, but the watch does a decent job at showing those, if you have mounted it conveniently. (I use the fourier aero holder)
