Doesn't find ANT devices and requires reboot

Fenix 5x plus sometimes (often when resuming an activity, but also happens when starting a new one) refuses to find ANT sensors (HR or Power Pedals) and will only find the bluetooth sensors. It needs to be restarted in order to find the ANT sensors and it immediately finds them. It happened on 8.4 but also on earlier firmware versions.

SKICAVS please consider emailing the beta email address [email protected] a report of the bug you are describing. This sounds like a bug in the BLE/BT/ANT+ firmware or code and it would be good for them to hear the report directly instead of having to search for it in these forums. The people that run the beta software program will probably ask you for some additional info via email. Garmin-Heath we've heard of users having similar bugs with the MARQ so potentially you can help the beta group gather the required info from this user.

The same problem with the 7.60 firmware. But now with 8.40, it doesn't appear again

It happens on APAC 7.20 and updated to APAC 7.60, hopefully it has been resolved.

Former Member Make sure you contact your local Garmin Support teams so they can get all the information they need to reproduce this issue since that is needed before they can come out with a fix for this.
