Battery life

There seams to be a lot of queries but no answers on battery life ??? I done a 7hour run on a fully charged watch and at the finish it was down to 24% !!!!!!!!

I have a replaced Fenix 5 plus watch under warranty since March 2020. Everything was fine but lately I noticed the battery consumption is about 8% per day with no activities and 10% per hour using gps for i.e. running/biking. Bluetooth on, ant+ hrm during runs. Is this still within normal ranges or should I be worried? If I go for a long bike ride on Saturday and Sunday I now have to make sure I have the cable with me next day.

How much % battery does your 5+ use?

If I run with music and heart rate belt I use about 15% an hour running

If I cycle with a speed and cadence sensor and heart rate belt I use about 10% an hour

I think about 10% per hour with GPS usage is normal - I got my Fenix 5 Plus brand new early April 2020 and before that I had a Fenix 5 (obviously no music on that so GPS with accessories was around 10% per hour)

Around 1% per 3 hours (0.3% per hour) in watch mode with no activities is normal, so 8% per day looks fine to me.

thanks! I will now record my % drain and use yours as reference. I also have an edge 530 which should last 15-20 hours but it also drains 10% so I guess max 10 hr.
