Watch Face with "adjustable" second display?

Hi,

I learned that displaying every second is taking a significant amount of battery.

If I am correct there is the feature to switch off to display the second within the watch face.

I do not need to see every second most of the day, but sometimes I like to see it.

Is there a watch face available which is starting to show the "second" after pressing the light button for a defined duration, let´s say for 5 or 10min and than switch it off again to safe battery?

Many thanks for the quick reply! 8s would be fairly short. IF I would like to see the seconds than it is mostly that I want to see it for arround 30s - 1min, so I would choose a timeout of approx 5min…

There's a few on the store that can do it for gesture, i.e when you pick up your wrist, and I think they also trigger for the light button

But they only show it for like 8 seconds at a time

And the gesture is nice but pressing a button is pressing a button = 100% control.

But I will have a look whether I can find something!

Hi, I received the feedback of a "watch face developer" and he told me that he has no access to the press of the light button. So it looks like that it is not possible to realize this feature

true, Watch faces can't access any input (buttons/swipes), but in a couple of mine have an option for a reduced display during DoNotDisturb and/or configured sleep times.
