New APAC update about to drop...

I track website changes to https://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=14169. I get notifications from a website tracking service whenever there is a change to that website. Just before any update, I will receive notifications of very minor changes to the page. Then within several days, a new update will be released. This has happened multiple times. It is just a prediction and may not happen, but I'm getting excited.

Interesting. I've got an APAC series watch and had 8.40 delivered a day before this was posted. I must have been in the first batch for once. No issues with the version so far.

Joel, how do you get update 8.40 as the upgrade from 7.20 to 7.60 for APAC just took place on September 3, 2019?

8.40 is live for all. I haven't gone through any particularly process, but rather just woke up one morning a few days back and noted that it was installed.

Re the 7.60 update, I'd been running the prod version of this for a couple months before seeing the 8.40 update. It's possible that you may just be on the very tail end of an upgrade cycle.

This is not APAC . I got the same version on mine 8.40 (7beb8fc). And my watch is not a APAC.

A new APAC update 7.70 was released today for anyone interested.

Odd. I bought this watch from JB Hifi as Australian stock and with APAC maps installed.
