I’m happy with mine. No software related product that has as many features as the 5+ will ever be 100% perfect.
Generally, the negative posters believe the world revolves around them, which is why we see what we see (like the topic that was locked earlier).
Yep, happy with mine too! Never crashed mid-activity or something like that. Coach-feature is great, I'm using it right now to train for a 10k race. Just love it!
I'm generally very happy with my 5+ as well. I mostly do running, hiking and strength training. No hardware issues, no software crashes or non-working features, acceptable battery life etc.
Sure, GPS and OHR accuracy could probably be better, but I can't really say it's not delivering as advertised or performing worse than what can be expected from the current technology. Since I wanted higher accuracy than the watch could offer, I took the consequence of that and added a chest strap and a foot pod.
The only annoying thing for me is that all the FirstBeat metrics are disabled when running without GPS even if the watch is fed with perfectly fine pace/distance data from Stryd. But again, that seems to be from intent which makes it more of a design flaw rather than a bug.
Nice post. I'm happy as well with everything working as it should and battery making it consistently around 12 days in SW mode. (Mind you, this is my 3rd one so we can't ignore that there are serious issues).
Yeah, my 3rd one worked properly, but sold it to get the Fenix 6x when it will be launched. In one year of owning it, 3 months was in Assistance. Hope the 6 will have a better QC.
Absolutely zero issues with mine (5x+). Been through two ultra's, about to do the third Sunday and the fourth in October! Paired with an HRM-Run I'm one seriously happy bunny. About to hit 3000K running this week with that ultra, 2000 did with the 5x+ as I upgraded this year from a F5.
Did you read the OP, or are you just being deliberately arguementative?
I've been very supportive of of this thread and yet someone marked my response as abusive. Seems to be a very popular passing of time for some members. Good for you..
