  • Made several code improvements and bug fixes for golf, especially CT10.

Please note, the beta updates released on these forums are not suitable for APAC region devices.

Please send all bug reports to [email protected], and indicate which model of the fenix 5 Plus series you have in the subject line.

  • I suppose you mean my Ultra race. I had a new Sport profile with: GPS+Glonass, every second recording. Course navigation without loaded map. Just the track. Alerts: every 35' eat, every 59' electrolyte, every 3h aminos. All the alerts had sound and vibration. Also climbpro screen was enabled. The wrist hr was disabled.  I remember that the fist time I charged it, it was after 11 hours and it had 20% left. The 5+ definitely can not take over an ultra race. But your 5x+ could easily last 20-22 hours with all these settings and with wrist hr.

  • Maybe those coooooooountless other people really don't use their watches then? I encounter bugs all the time.

  • It isn't worth 1$... I have HRM strap, but this super expensive watch is markedet with an pulse reader in the watch and IT WORKED at some time, but every FW they break something.

  • How did you return to 6.0? Please share! I want 6.0 also. Other bugs, but at least the things i use work...

Totally agree - thats what we should have finally learned looking at the history!

  • I'm still having this issue with the Last sport widget. When the last sport is a Strength activity, then the widget shows this:

Are you talking about the bug where the watch crashes while calculating the route using “Hiking and Running” and “Automotive” as the methods of routing for navigation?

If not, can anyone verify with this new firmware that your Fenix 5x Plus is now able to calculate the route using “Hiking and Running” and “Automotive” as the routing methods for navigation for US maps? This has been an incredibly frustrating bug which has rendered the watch useless for me since I bought Garmin for routing using native maps. Thanks.

  • Just for info: With phone connection, optical HR and vibration disabled I went from 100% to 22% in 25 hours on my last ultra (GPS only, auto recording).  30 minutes charging brought it back up to 80% or so and it happily lasted a further 11 hours.

No it was in creating a route for running.

You may, and yes there will be bugs - it's impossible to write complex software that is bug free. But you can't say these people DON'T use their watches? People who don't have a problem don't go to forums to say so. Yes,, it's frustrating to see bugs - and let's be honest, we're in the BETA firmware group where bugs are expecting - but there isn't a huge outporing of people complaining about them - this is perception bias again.

If all you have is a hammer, every problem is a nail.
