I first bought a Fenix 5s and when I was starting it, it all of a sudden frozen with the Garmin logo in the display and it could no longer be found by the phone, nor the computer. I sent it back and it took a month before I got it back and it had been changed and updated.
I also wanted one with scratch free glas so I ordered the Fenix 5s sapphire 2018 and I was so happy when the startup went very well, as long as the moment when I was going to start downloading watchfaces. Then it wanted a system updated by Garmin Express on the computer. I started that and halfway when it was going to the the WiFi point, this one also froze with the Garmin logo in the display and it cannot be found by any of my appliances. I'm starting to think that there is something wrong in My house!
I have used Samsung smart watches before and haven't had any problems. I also wanted this since it was smaller than Samsung Gear S3 Frontier since it has the emergency function. But this I have not got to work, it only works through My Garmin edge 520 plus gps cycling computer 2018 when I turn that off...
So I'm contemplating returning all of my Garmin Fenix 5s watches if they cannot get started, nor get the emergency function working.
Anyone else had these problems and have solutions how to solve it at home?
