Fenix 5 Plus Series - 8.02 Beta Release

Note: Please allow for the updates to propagate across all servers. There is no need to post that the link does not work. It will after a bit of patience.

8.02 Change Log Notes:

Added support for “Buenos Aires, Argentina” as a valid time zone on the Alternate Time Zone widget.
Fixed an issue where consecutive shots could be missed when using a CT10.
Fixed an issue where the scorecard page was not being displayed in certain conditions.
Fixed an issue where the device would crash when trying to use the “Set a target” training option.
Fixed an issue where the device would crash when creating a round trip route.

Please note, the beta updates released on these forums are not suitable for APAC region devices.

I did a factory reset on 8.02 last week in hope to fix this. Sadly this did not change anything regarding the elevation data in the fit files.

I also reached out to [email protected] two times but never get a response regarding this issue. I'm fully aware of the fact that I am testing a beta release here. But I expect that I would get at least a short ACK when I report an issues. Isn't this the idea behind beta software testing

Next step would be to downgrade to 8.01 and see if this fixes the problem. But I would like to avoid setting up the watch again and again.

Still have a non working Actiface - anyone else got tjis problem?

Hi,

I had a problem during Activity with Navigation to the Point with Track Back or by Route (mountain path). There was an error message "Not enough memory".
