7.60 on Fenix 5X Plus, walking/hiking heart-rate off

I have same issue. No problem in Running with HR strap, terrible on hiking with integrated HR sensor. I have 7.60 firmware. 

I *may* contemplate that option; but that would then mean tat for longer (multi-day) hikes I'd have to lug about two charger cables w/ my powerbank ... =/  I used to have a Scosche Rhythm+ to go w/ my Suunto, sold them together ... I still think Garmin should just stop upgrading me away from the perfectly fine 6.64beta ;)

That said: while that had happened 3 days in a row, today I got to wake up to 6.64 and syncing only took well under a minute ... maybe someone is reading all my bitching and flicked a secret switch on my profile? :D

...and I think there has never been any firmware with perfectly fine OHR. So you are chasing something, which doesn't really solve your problem.

Heh. That would make it a very sad state of affairs indeed. 

FW 7.10 didn't have this problem, at least for me

My Fenix 5x plus measures low heart rate when I select  hiking activity, but it's OK when I select running or i'm resting. 

I contacted Garmin Support and they told me that there is a bug on 7.60 fw reported from some users.

I drove down to FW 6.0 and the pulse is okay. Garmin is not suitable for regular users, but for IT specialists

Still hasn't been fixed in 8.02

I have the same problem with low heart-rates on my Fenix 5x Plus. The problem is also in version 8.03 beta.

I had an Apple Watch before and want it back :-(
