FW 7.60 in Fenix 5 Plus (brand new) - error while calibrating compass

Hi all,

As anyone had issues to calibrate compass with FW 7.6?

I've tried several times in different places and in different ways (like many youtube videos: in wrist, out of wrist, just forward and back, turning around...) but it always fails to calibrate the compass. The compass works "fine" I guess but not being able to calibrate it is weird... also did a factory reset and didn't solve.

Anyone else with this issue? Or a solution for it?

Make sure that you continuously tilt the watch face in all directions. If you get that right, you don't even have to do a figure 8 motion. I just do a circular motion, and the calibration works every time.

Thanks... basically i put in calibration and just walked and it worked. So the trick for me was just not to do any of the asked motions :S

I have the same problem in 7.6 with 5x Plus. Compass and altimeter always calibration failed.

did you resolved issue, my calibration also fails
