Bluetooth and Wifi control / Airplane Mode

HI,

Can you confirm that the little icon to switch the phone off in the controls menu is effecively the airplane mode on the Fenix 5X Plus?

I was trying to find the bluetoth and wifi enable / disable controls. The documentation on the internet said to use this icon but it was missing from the watch.

Eventually I found some options screens to add it back in - I've done that. The docs are a bit confusing, but this seems to be the only way to put the watch in airplane mode?

WiFi, when configured, is off unless you manually turn it on to sync or if you have auto uploads enabled and don't have a BT link to your phone. So you don't need to worry about WiFi. BT will stay on until you disable the phone connection. That can be done either through the settings menu, settings->phone->status (on/off), or in the control menu, phone w/BT logo.

That is as close to airplane mode you can get on the watch.

I put the airplane mode activated on my Epix (therefore bluetooth and wifi deactivated) and yet when I got home, my training was automatically downloaded to Garmin Connect (and Strava).
How is it possible ? Airplane mode bug?
