7.55 Change Log Notes:

Fixed an issue where one could no longer add the Garmin Coach widget.
Fixed an intermittent issue which could crash the device at random intervals.
Made several minor improvements for music.

Please note, the beta updates released on these forums are not suitable for APAC region devices.

And altimeter is a catastrophe, I've just run 250 m below sea level today with altimeter set to calibrate at the beginning of the activity

It seems a device fail to me. I had similar problems, had my unit swapped and now I'm on 0,3-0,4 per hour.

I suggest to contact Garmin assistance.

Installation of 7.55 beta went fine and 'everything' is working as expected. I've installed the beta yesterday afternoon.
One remark when i came home after my run this morning (without my phone Samsung S8) the watch (F5s+) and my phone couldn't sync anymore. Had to connect the watch with Garmin connect which failed. So I've deleted the watch in connect and the BT menu on phone and had o do the whole installation process as if it was a new watch.....Never happened before will try again later when i leave the phone at home after a workout. Connection is picked up when i leave the phone in the room and go outside i the garden or to another floor.

Battery performance seems a bit high was 100% yesterday after teh installation and 24 hrs later 61%, avg is 1.8% per hour with 24/7 HR, sleep, DND and 2 GPS activities (bikeride 30 min. and 1 hour run.)
But will need more time to see long term.

GARMIN must be kidding with us, so boring issue with battery draining absolutely crazy!!!!
