Dual Sim phone and answering on phone call by text message - problem (Fenix 5X Plus)

I have Huawei P20 Pro (I also tested in with Xiomi Redmi 4A). The phone is with Dual Sim. When I get text message on my phone and I choose "Answer" on the watch the phone is choosing right SIM card to do it (the answer is going out from the phone according to SIM card on which I get text). so, it is OK. But during incomming phone call the application is sending text always from SIM card 1 (do not take information from which CARD there is incomming phone call). It should send text via SIM card which is used to incoming call.

Firmware version 7.10. Fenix 5X Plus

hi,

sorry to revive such an old thread, but i have just purchased the new VENU 2 and also have problems with my Dual SIM phone (in my case a Nokia 8)

the VENU 2 does not even react to calls form one of my 2 SIM cards!

- incoming calls from one SIM card are recognized fine and i get options to answer or decline, etc. on the watch.
- incoming calls from other SIM card are not recognized and watch is not doing anything...

anything you configured on the FENIX to make this work?
or is it just random....?

Hi,

there was a time it was working fine. last month I noticed that not always it is working properly. Sometimes I am not able to send SMS.

I didn't change anything in FENIX nor in mobile phone (now and weeks/months ago). So, Garmin probably changed something.

I made similar observations during the last days.

Sometimes it works and the watch picks up calls from both SIM cards.

Then, on the next day, it is not working anymore and only 1 SIM card gets recognized.

Very odd...
