Third party bands for 5s that are thicker than 20mm?

I have seen a few threads here on after market bands that are 22mm and 26mm Quick Fit bands that can be sort of fit onto the 20mm lugs of the 5s.

Can anyone show how they did this?

The existing 5s 20mm band just does not work very good on the 5s. It is short, thin and doesn't suit the chunkiness of the watch.

You can fit 20mm, 22mm and 26mm Garmin brand wrist bands or 3rd party ones from Amazon. Cut out the corners with sharp object and file or Dremel the plastic/metal quick release to fit inside the watch case lugs. I've found that the 26mm has the best fit.

That's ok. Doesn't have to look "neat" for my use of the watch. The larger width band makes it more functional than what's made available to fit between the lugs.
