Incident Detection - compatible with inReach?

We were hiking last weekend and I slipped on a rock. The incident reporting option started beeping but we were in a location without cell service. Super cool feature. would it work with the Garmin inReach mini by chance?

All is well! Thank you. I'll have to submit as a feature request. It would be cool if the garmin devices could summons GEOS through the inReach products if there was an accident where you were incapacitated…

Sorry, Incident Detection is only meant to go through your phone network.

The fenix 5 Plus does have the inReach widget that will allow you to send a message or SOS via the watch (nice for those times the inReach is in the pack). Plus the inReach has the SOS button on the device that will work even if the device is turned off since the SOS will turn on the device and then send the SOS message to GEOS.
