so i am very new to the garmin wearables and just picked up the fenix 5x plus. I am wondering if there is a way that the watch will not only track my run but notify me of every km reached and the time of each km.

If you also want to hear a message (in your headphones or through the speaker of your phone, if connected to the watch via bluetooth), these are called "Audio Prompts" under the watch's settings. If you go to Settings > Audio Prompts, you'll find an option called "Lap Alert." For both of the above, if you wanted an alert every 1 km, you will also want to ensure you auto-lap distance is set for 1 km. Hope this helps!
