Can't remove playlist name

I have a Fenix 5+ and I have uploaded music files via Garmin Connect and via Winamp through Transfer to device.

Now I have deleted the playlists and songs on my watch (either Connect or deleted via explorer) to upload another playlist and mp3 files via Garmin Connect

It shows no music (Music folder empty, Playlists folder : empty) which it's normal.

I have uploaded the new playlist and files (Garmin Connect), it's ok, but I see some previous deleted playlists with no music.

How can I remove the deleted playlists from the watch (with no songs associated) ? besides hard reset ?

I rebooted the watch, same result, they appear even there's no music file (song name) associated.

When I browse the watch via explorer or Connect it shows no playlist name which I want to remove.

From now on I will use only Garmin Connect to upload playlists and songs.

  • Hi I have had this same issue. Months ago, I tried resetting the watch to factory and even then the playlists would end up duplicating. 

    However, just last night I did another factory reset firmware v7.6, and now I don't have any empty duplicate playlists.

    I disconnected reconnected my spotify account on the watch. all was gone, no factory reset necessary
