I looking for help buth what will you help here? watch in daily use lost 35% for 24 hours. it was weak with a battery, but never quite like that. And this is how it has been since I have 7.10

My battery drain on 7.10 was .531 per hour. I tried the beta 7.52 because of the higher drain and it’s hanging around .379 per hour now with basic SW functionality.

I just got a brand new 5+ and I'm on 7.1 version but the battery life is very bad. In fact it discharges 7 times faster then my old Fenix 5 which I also have here. with the same usage patterns and same features turned on I get 40+ days on a single charge. 5+ I don't even get the advertised 12 days I only get 8. Did you guys return your watches or got used to quick discharge?

Garmin exchanged F5plus for a new _refurbrished_ thank you. for a few days I tried different Firmware from 6.0 -6.57 to beta 7.52 Without any difference. 50% daily only in "smartwach" mode without listening to music, without anything. Garmin watchface.

50 min running, 40% disaster batteries disappear. Today I'm calling garmin again.

in two weeks I have a mountain marathon, how much battery will I need? to warm up?

I received a brand new unit (my 3rd now...) 3 weeks ago and battery live has been as advertised. 13 days in SW mode, normal drain during GPS activity, no post drain. On SW 7.51

Go request a new one if nothing helps fixing it.

It would be interesting to see how many issues the update itself produces. My first watch was draining at 1%/hour rate (with 10 restarts and 6.0,7.1 and 7.52 FW), second one went 13 days with four 45min activities which is impressive.

During SW upgrade of the first unit I had some weird issues (like find my phone shown 3 times on controls screen). Also updated maps. On the second one I just deleted "garmin" maps and used topo (update was from 3.2 to 7.1).

In conclusion, I think I am not going to update from 7.10 ever. Only if Garmin adds some nice new features. DO ASK for new unit over and over until you get one with normal battery life.

 I resent Refurbished, I have to get Brand new in the box. We'll see if something will help. I will let you know how the new fenix will come.
