MoveIQ requires that the activity continues without interruption for 10 minutes before it's recorded. A city tour sounds like something where you move for a couple of minutes, stand still, continue etc. That prevents it from being recognized.
Unfortunately, Instinct (solar) does not not have the ability to schedule "auto activity" like many other Garmin devices. Move IQ events only show in the timeline (online) as a grey icon with a time attached to it. Therefore, unless you know where to look, it will remain unnoticed. Why it was 2 sequences of 2 minutes (while walking for over an hour) is the substance of the issue. Anyhow, yesterday and today it seemed to work close to what it should be (after a reset to factory)
