Fenix 5X Plus - 7.51 Beta Release

Hello Fenix 5X Plus users,

We have new beta software ready for your upcoming adventures!

Note: Please allow for the updates to propagate across all servers. There is no need to post that the link does not work. It will after a bit of patience.

67.51 Change Log Notes:

  • Fixed an issue where the device could crash during a cycling activity when paired to a cadence sensor.
  • Fixed an intermittent issue where the device could crash when fetching calendar information from the smartphone.
  • Fixed an issue where the device was reporting incorrect treadmill calibration values.
  • Fixed a couple of minor issues with golf.
  • Improved the reliability of Wifi syncs.


Please note, the beta updates released on these forums are not suitable for APAC region devices.

    How many days will pass to see the "Improved the reliability of Wifi syncs" in the stable release?
    Is there anybody there that have tested and solve the wifi problems with different routers?

    And how long do we wait until a correct GPS accuracy ?
    the device still always underestimate the distance in woodtrails.

    The update did not help with WIFI problems. I send the watch to Garmin. I spent too much money to play with it longer.

    hi all,

    I stayed a couple of days on official 7.10
    I experienced one Varia connection lost during one of my bicycling.

    so I decide to continue the beta journey, which I enjoy by the way.
    switched to the 7.51.
    Radar Varia RTL 510 icon is fine.... ;) (the one that has gone in some 5.xx betas, and in 6.00 official...)

    looks good to me.

    Can you please post the model of routers you have trouble?
    I have tried without good news with:

    D-LINK DVA-5592
    ADB EpiCentro VV2220

    Hey, I tried dozens of different models of routers in a dozen different places. Without success. Unfortunately, due to the number of devices, it's hard to give everyone's name.

    For Garmin, the wifi is a marginal problem, and this is not in the priority list for the prox fix. I heard them now (Garmin Italy).

    FYI: Unifi WiFi network seems to work fine.

    Offetoffe Which version do you have? Does it work before update too? I have the stable 7.10 waiting for a fix, and there is somebody like TakiJeden that have the same issue after update too...
