I went from 645 Music to Fenix 5X+. My wife still has the 645. The 645 screen is more clear and its more easy to see the information. Also the screen on my Fenix is harder to keep clean. Feels like it attracts more smudge than the 645?! Is this a result of going from glass to sapphire? Really? Or is my fenix screen broken?
My experience with Sapphire, coming from a F3 non-sapphire, now owning a F5X+ Sapphire: You need the direction of incoming light to be more perpendicular to the screen. It is as if light at odd angles is blocked.
Strangely, it only affects the incoming light, not outgoing light - you can look at the screen from any angle and get a clear view, as long as the incoming light is coming from the correct angle.

Yeah exactly! The direction of light is crucial. What about smudge and dirt? I feel the 645 glass is cleaner and more easy to keep clean.
