iPhone notifications need bluetooth OFF/ON to work

When i power up my iphone (iOS 12.2) in the morning, i see my Fenix 5 plus to be connected in the bluetooth settings.
HOWEVER no notifications come through on the watch!
What i need to do to get it work is to turn off and on the bluetooth on the iPhone.
After that, notifications work as expected.
Same behaviour with firmware 6.00 and 7.10!
  • Mine work with Bluetooth on but my text messages are not getting to the watch
  • I have the same exact issue with two of my Fenix 5 Plus, even after this v7.1 firmware update the issue still there. I never have to deal with these issue with my Apple Watch before. I have to turn off/on my Fenix 5 Plus once everyday to reset the Bluetooth to ensure the watch continue receiving the notification otherwise I will miss them all. Come on Garmin...
