Anyone got the 7.00 update?

Wouldn't worry - I'm UK also and no sign of it yet, but it's still only at 20% availability.

Glad to read that some or possibly all of the battery issues are fixed, this was my only concern with the watch. Wonder if we will now see higher usage during activities to compensate for no post activity drainage.

With 6.72 I was seeing ~8% per hour during a GPS activity. That's about right according to the specs. As long as 7.10 reflects this, I am happy.

Last night I also had relatively accurate sleep tracking on 6.72 so hopefully this is better as well.

7.10 on board. Round trip routing calculations take a lot of time. Switch between routes causes to appear blank map for a long time. Very slow map panning.

I am having the same issues. I tried to use the watch to navigate to work this morning and the panning could not keep up with the speed of the vehicle going about 45 mph. This caused the screen to remain partially blank. Also took forever to calculate or recalculate the route with a good GPS lock and a fairly simple route. In testing, all of this worked perfectly on versions previous to 6.72 Definitely some issues with the mapping.

I’m not seeing this with 7.10 on board. Have you tried a forced soft reset? (hold light button for 20 seconds until power off, then restart). That often clears some ‘awkward’ behaviour after a software update.

Just completed a run for 1:07 and witnessed 8% drain (98% -> 90%) on 7.10. So far so good :cool:

5+ lost nearly 40 % since 10:00 in the morning with 7.10. Means 9 hours for nearly 40 % accu with only a 1:10 h run with music and HRM run heartrate monitor. Calculate round trip for 15 km takes long long long long time. Map display is really slow and I miss the "Device usage" widget !

Anyone know why 6.72 beta has sensor hub 2.31, but final release 7.10 has only 2.30?

I haven't used the GPS yet but I see a normal drain of about .38/hour in the first 12 hours on 7.1

I do not think you will see that in the production level firmware.

As to the other concerns, I just did a 5 mile course "any direction" and had usable courses in just a few minutes while sitting inside my house (without a GPS lock). I don't think that is out of the ordinary, but I also don't use this feature much.
