• Fixed an issue where the background color for data screens in a swim workout could end up inverted if the workout was ended early.

I could not agree more. As APAC user I can't use the beta versions - so cant fix the Power Spikes.

So for the last 2 months I have done most of my training with my Apple Watch 4.

So my Fenix 5x Plus is relegated to being only step counter to compete with my children on VivoFit Jr.

Fenix 5x Plus is a DARN EXPENSIVE step counter.

normally i have batt. consumption 0.1-0.2% / hour.. since i'm on this fw, it went up to 0.5-1.0% / hour..

I just hope that The next update will be an official FW. Just guessing that the delay for the new FW is due cause they’re implementing all the new stuff we are seeing in the Marq series since it is also going to be in the new FR245 an 945.

This is exactly what I was thinking. Fenix 5X Plus is still a flagship device, and as such needs a fair bit of work to play catch up to the Marque series. I don't doubt we'll see new features introduced on the next major update
