Note: Please allow for the updates to propagate across all servers. There is no need to post that the link does not work. It will after a bit of patience.

6.72 Change Log Notes:
  • Fixed an issue where the background color for data screens in a swim workout could end up inverted if the workout was ended early.

Please note, the beta updates released on these forums are not suitable for APAC region devices.

Please send all bug reports to "][email protected], and indicate which model of the fenix 5 Plus series you have in the subject line.
  • Yesterday I participated in a trail race with 6.72. the distance was 100% accurate as the elevation gain. The post activity drain was 0%. The 5+Ti consumed about 7,3% per hour with GPS+Galileo, external HR, and navigation. So I think that for the first time, everything was perfect. Well done Garmin team. I suppose that for 18 hours recording and 5,5% per hour consumption, you need GPS only without HR and extra settings.
  • Issue with OSM topo maps, (http://www.frikart.no/garmin/velgkart.html and http://garmin.opentopomap.org). The display is wrong, the trails are not mentioned and the basemap is not good. I had to reset the firmware 6 and reinstall the 6.71 beta that works. :-(

Just completed a few days biking and hiking.

my friend used a Suunto 9 - no external sensors. Wrist mounted.
i used the Fenix 5 plus - external HR, Wahoo cadence, Garmin speed sensor. (GPS+Glonass. Handle bar mounted)

Both record different distances. In comparison with the route loaded into OS maps the Suunto is closest.

Apart from that the watch functioned perfectly over the two days.
