Fixed an issue where the device was reporting extremely high values for Bike powermeter.
So until someone confirms that APAC 6.1 release has the power meter issue resolved I'm staying on v5.1 with the issues that have - and have little faith or trust left in Garmin
I have noticed seemingly increased battery drain on 6.1. I don't have any numbers to back it up, but my watch was fully charged yesterday, and it's now sitting at 35%. I haven't used any special functions, just looked at the time (Crystal watchface).
I was stupid enough to update to v6.1 APAC release as I thought Garmin would not be stupid enough to release it with the power meter bug since it was released so much later than 6.51 beta that fixed the power meter.
but I was very wrong. I should have done as I wrote and stayed at v5.1
Plenty of power meter spikes with V6.1 APAC.
What a disgrace. So now back to my 5x non-plus.. :(
So in short - IF you user POWER METERS (incl. Stryd) DO NOT INSTALL v6.0 or V6.1 for Garmin APAC devices.
Still stuck on v6.1 with Power Peak errors - but got a new one.
Yesterday I had to power cycle the watch - went for a run 2 days ago - and half way through the run I find out that none of the external sensors are working (HR, Tempe & Stryd) - I finish the run - and try to restart an activity and no ANT+ devices found.
I get the ANT+ back by power cycle the watch. And now it seems to work again.
