5s Plus Strap Mod (Chunky Straps)

Hi All,
As a previous Fenix 3 owner I fancied the change to a smaller watch therefor purchased the 5S Plus. Its perfect for my small wrists. I now love the small watch but missed the chunky straps, I decided to modify the spare straps from my Fenix 3 and I think its worked a treat. I will do the same with plain black straps now I know it works.

Thanks for the idea. I just put on a non-quick fit Garmin 935 strap (force yellow) on my 5s plus. Fits beautifully without any mods because it is made out of very soft silicone and it compresses nicely…

I’d really like to find a decent leather strap - I’ve similarly trimmed a 5 strap down. But the leather strap has wider plastic clips.

It is much more comfortable than the original Garmin or non-OEM straps from Amazon.

Yep, great mod, I purchased some cheap fenix 3 straps and used the mod for my FR 935. The wider band feels much better.
