From what I can find by searching, I’m guessing there is still no option to rotate the display 90 degrees, software wise not the actual watchface itself?
Having had the Fenix 3 since launch, I have always thought being able to mount the watch (with the rubber garmin bike adapter) on the bike stem and not the handlbars makes much more sense! Also having got into swimming more, would be easier to see the display with arm out reached, rather than having to interrupt swim stroke by turning arm in.
I thought this would be easy to implement by now but maybe not enough interest in this feature?
