Battery lost 9% overnight

Hi all,
Sorry for another battery thread. Has anyone experienced such battery loss over 7.5 hours? Obviously it is tracking HR etc. but it seems excessive. It is only on charge 2 (had it 2 days it came empty and I topped it up after a half marathon yesterday). Does it turn all of its run guiding/tracking sensors off automatically? Can you turn off Bluetooth/WiFi? Is there a good battery widget?
Thanks.
  • Gr4z I know that they are working on a variety of issues including this with users and Beta testers and have fed back information mysel on the battery issues
  • JSRUNNER_ let's hope your right as I am tired of having these small niggles and bugs. Garmin have been completely absent from these forums over the last few months, with no updates, no responses to any of these problems. They were very vocal before and now nothing.

The Apple Watch becomes more and more tempting!
  • Gr4z unfortunately new watches do seem to suffer a period of niggles and bugs before they stabilise. Depending on the features you want the Apple watch may be an alternative. For me the 5+ overall does the job and has a nice physical quality to it - however the key functions for me - GPS and battery life are both inferior to the 935 I had before.

Yeah and what sucks is that I just got myself a 5+ and I'm seeing this exact issue. Battery drainage is insane. 9% overnight with everything off except Activity tracking. So HR etc everything is off. I'm running 7.1 FW version. My old Fenix 5 that I still have with the same settings gets up to 56 days and I'm not even kidding and it is normal to see 40+ day runs on one charge. I'll call Garmin support tomorrow but I have a feeling there will be no solution here. So this is probably going back to REI. 8 days on a charge with literally no features on is ridiculous.
