Annoying power spikes on the Wattbike

I've found my Fenix 5S is measuring some strange 30,000watt spikes in power when on the Wattbike. These spikes don't show on the Wattbike reader, so it looks like a Fenix fault rather than the Wattbike. An example attached: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/3322336124. Annoying as it has registered a artificially far higher average power, new FTP and VO2max figures.
It's happened twice out of two rides on the Wattbike. No such problems on hundreds of rides on my 735xt.
Thoughts? Faulty unit?

Problem introduced with 6.0 and reportedly fixed in 6.51b. Solution is to install 6.51b (see top of this forum) or wait for the next general release.
