I have not found a way to hide waypoints in map view. When zooming out, the course becomes hidden behind the waypoint names (011, 012, 013, ect.) and unreadable.
There is a show/hide coursepoint in the map setting within the activity settings, but it does nothing to hide the waypoint names.
If no solution => Feature request :)
