Not used any Garmin products since my trusty Bike comp a good few years ago, now the proud owner of the 5X Plus.
Everything works a treat except for Wifi - mainly for Spotify which was one of the main drivers for getting this.
I have tried setting up from the app and the watch and always succeed in the initial setup but soon as an app (spotify) tries to use the wifi I get an 0200 error or 0800 error.
Im a senior network consultant so have done all I can to bug check things with regards the wifi but I just cant get this to work.
Have set up a separate SSID as I know that some Garmin products dont like noisy/saturated wireless networks but this still does not work, tried WPA2 and WPA - always connects on the initial setup but never with an app. Rebooted the watch - watched.packet captured traffic but cant fathom this out.
Any ideas?
