Open Water Swimming Issue

I swam today and to my surprise the GPS track did not show the actual track on water, instead it shows the track on land, i think it's hard to swim on land :-), anyone facing same issue? Please help. ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1445825.png

Contact the people who published your map. Garmin will plot a track to a map based on the GPS recording. If the map is wrong it's not Garmin's fault.

The explanation is quite obvious if you compare the map to current satellite imagery of that area...

To sum it up: Your watch is right, the map is wrong.
