Being raster rather than vector I am not sure it offers any advantage to the OSM data.

Thanks but I was looking specifically for OS 1:25k as they have masses more detail than any other map

I thought at least one of those links covered the 25k maps as well.
With the resolution of the watchface you will only have a tiny area visible using the OS 25k raster maps. The OSM based openmtbmap.org vector maps include field boundaries which is one of the main advantages of the OS 25k over 50k and have more detail on overhead cables than the OS 25k but lack the building outlines and the 5m contours. But will easily fit on your watch, can be zoomed in and out to your hearts content, are regularly updated and are free.
Also worth checking out the Talkytoaster site for info on raster vs vector and maps based on OSM data.

I have a set of the 1:25k maps and they were useable, I don't think there's enough space on the watch to load the whole of the UK however. As mentioned above I ended up buying the talkytoaster maps which are excellent, you can zoom right in and get the whole of the UK on the watch. the OS maps are not digital but high resolution scans of maps that's why the file size is so.big.
