Customizing my fenix 5 plus

Hi,

Is it possible to customize my watch using the garmin connect web page?
e.g. configuring settings, what screens and information to display during an activity, creating activity types, that sort of thing.
It's very fidgety to do it using the watch. Also, the settings don't appear to be stored outside the watch, so when I had to factory reset my watch I had to do it all again.

Noi it’s not possible but often requested. Send a feature request to Garmin.

When next you connect your device to your computer, navigate your way to the SETTINGS folder and back up the Settings file. On the rare occasion you need to factory reset, you can just pop that in the NEWFILES folder and your settings will be replaced.

There are a number of posts throughout the 5/5s, 935, 5+/5S+ etc with more detail about how to quickly restore personal information and settings after a factory reset.

Thanks for the reply. Seems crazy to me that Garmin haven't supplied this.

I have sent them a feature request as you suggested.
