Stress Widget stops working after indoor bike interval session

Recently, I noticed that after my TrainerRoad sessions the optical heart rate monitor fails to recover and HRV stresss readings do not resume after my heart rate comes back down. I initially thought the sensor was dirty from sweat and that was interfering with the readings, however, after wiping everything down and refitting the watch I still got no stress reading. Afterwards, I tried rebooting the watch and the stress readings resumed immediately.

When I train I simply have it in watch mode since my TrainerRoad account uses the chest strap, power meter and speed sensor to collect the relevant data and sync it with Garmin Connect afterwards.

The optical heart rate works well when the stress readings are not available, and this is rather irritating since I like to visualize the stress after an intensive routine. Does anyone else notice something like this with their watch after prolonged exertion? Otherwise the sensor works well, I simply mount it one hole tighter and about one inch higher on the wrist.
  • Really no one cares, I have experience with two 5+ units and both are usually useless when it comes to stress tracking following a demanding workout. The widget graph shows no data and it always tells you to check watch fit, the only way to restore it is to reboot (I did consider sweat but this has no effect), ridiculous for a $1000 watch.

I'm getting tired of opening tickets with nothing being done, the battery fuel gauge was also supposed to be fixed and the problem still exists since launch, sensors wake up and connect randomly when browsing the widget loop among other major bugs.
