About fenix 5 leather wristband cuff and 5x+ vs 5+ topic

1-st post.

Hi everyone!

So I'm in the process of buying my first Garmin device (Fenix 5x plus).

The dilemma about 5x+ and 5+:

I first bought Fenix 5+ Ti (which is still in a closed box). As the 5+ Ti was coming toward my way, I went to the local dealer and actually tried on both 5x+ and 5+. The 5+ watch face seemed so small and weird looking (only my opinion). So I tried on the 5x+ and to my surprise, it didn't look that big on my wrist (my wrist is 7 inches - 18cm), but that's only as it seemed to me.
So my dilemma about the two watches is- is the 5x+ gonna bebig (I've read online, that wrist size with 42mm watch should be around 7 inches and more, but 5x+ is 51mm), bulky (as if it is gonna be tossing around my wrist) and too heavy (it's 96g if I'm correct? My last sport watch was only 52g).

But I do like about 5x+ is the more rough look (only my opinion) and a huge battery life compared to 5+ Ti (like twice the size. What I like about the 5+ Ti is that it's lighter (76g if I recall right) and it might look more natural on my wrist (confused here about the wrist sizes on watches?).

My question about the leather wrist cuff:

Has anyone ever had any experiences with the leather wrist cuff? I really like the looks of having a leather wrist cuff watch
( here's a link, for somewhat reason the forum didn't let me upload it --> https://i.etsystatic.com/5173910/r/il/623703/475796512/il_fullxfull.475796512_1rqh.jpg ).

Has anyone had any experience with Garmin wrist-based heart rate monitor watches and leather wrist cuffs? Can it be done somehow with the Quick-fit system as well? If yes, can someone post some pictures, how it looks and a comment on how it feels and works (the HRM I mean)?

Thanks in advance!

    You would need to cut a hole where the HR monitor is and it would have to fit flush with your skin so you might have issues with the cuff.

    the weight would be well distributed and thus make it easier to wear with a cuff.

    my greatest concern is it’s a watch for active people and will get gross with no real way of cleaning leather.

    Trail and error for all the above points for sure. If it did work though would be pretty sweet.
