Hi
I've got a fenix 5 plus that's just updated to firmware 6
I've been doing several runs a week (trail runs)I select trail run as the activity and training status always reads No status But I'm sure it used to give me feedback when I 1st started using it but I think I was selecting run as the activity
Thanks for any help

I think I read somewhere that the training status, VO2Max, LT, etc were all based upon the Firstbeat Technologies, and while the "Run" activity uses them, the "trail run" doesn't. I believe that if you choose "Run", you'll see those stats. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
  • Correct, in order to get Training Status you will need to perform activities that updates your VO2max estimate. For running, it’s only the activity called Run that does that as far as I know. Also, for the Run activity to update your VO2max estimate, you will need to run outside with GPS and HR enabled. If you don’t have older VO2max estimates, you might need to do a few runs before getting a new Training Status.

If the VO2max value hasn’t been updated for some time (I believe it’s two weeks?), Training Status will change to No Status.
