Amp yellow ... more like banana yellow

I was completely sold on this band and new watch... it looked like a sweet line green across the internet. With the name amp yellow I just thought it was a marketing thing since it wasn't straight yellow... then I stumbled upon a user photo and its banana yellow WTF!! How can the entire internet if retailers be that far off...

Now I gotta rethink my bands

How has this not been updated??

Is this like the blue dress black dress or whatever it was. Some see banana and some see line green?? ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1425526.jpg ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1425527.jpg
  • The stock photo on the left looks green. The middle band in the photo on the right looks yellow.

I took a gamble in a similar direction that the "Flame Red" band. Turned up and it was far more orange than red.

Which is a happy little accident given I went for the flame red as it was the closest to an official orange band.

I don't think I'll be that lucky Haha.

Ya the one on the left is everywhere on the internet sites. It's annoying. You only get the banana yellow pictures when searching for user images and stuff.
  • I just received the "amp yellow" Fenix6-style band that indeed proved to be more of a color approaching "banana yellow" (top) than that nice lime green you see everywhere (compared below). Perhaps it has a hint of greenish "unripe banana"-tint, but that's about it.

Regrettably Garmin doesn't sell bands in that bright bold glow-in-the-dark neon limegreen.

Anyways, as long as the unripe banana-color band doesn't go brown over time, I'm OK with it.
