Fenix 5S Plus + Varia Vision + Varia Radar

I'm considering to purchase the Fenix 5S Plus, the Varia Vision Display and the Varia Radar Tail Light but wanted to make sure they can be used together as a system. I know there's a radar display unit that can be purchased separately but I'd rather use the Varia Vision to show the radar info/alert. Is that possible? If yes, will the Varia Vision also show the speed in addition to the radar info?
I would suspect the battery life would be adversely affected though. How long would you expect your longest ride to be? With GPS and bluetooth, I was looking at 7 - 8 hrs from a fully charged battery.
I have the 5+, vision and RTL and it works very well. Radar info are shown on the vision and watch screen just like on a edge device (orange line on right or left edge of the screen). Other data fields (like speed) are shown at the same time and not obstructed.
Battery life do take a hit, the more devices you connect.
I don’t remember the exact drain, but believe that on a 5.5 hr continues ride with my phone, vision, rtl, cadence-, and speed-sensor connected, gps and Galileo, smart recording, I went from 100% to 10-15%. And this is on a 5+, fw 3.1
