Does anyone know if the battery life is different in Smart vs 1 Second recording modes? Back a few years ago the main purpose of Smart was to keep file sizes down. Does it also affect battery drain?
Apparently 1s recording has a small negative impact on battery life compared to smart recording. I’ve heard up to 10%. For me that’s only been of concern when doing long activities where I need the maximum battery life I can get. Doesn’t happen that often now. I charge mine every couple of days or so anyhow.
