Long activity sync time over bluetooth

hi,

I am long user of Forerunner 735. I bought recently 5 plus and quite disappointed after one week usage - even short activity sync (4-5 miles road run) with mobile app over BT takes 10 min or so. In case of Forerunner 735 it was couple minutes.
All suggested updates installed on iPhone and Garmin 5 plus.

Anyone knows how to fix it?

Un-pair from the app. Forget in Bluetooth settings. Delete the app. Hard reset the iPhone. Hard reset the 5+ (Press and hold power button until turns off. You won't lose user settings). Turn on 5+. Reload Garmin Connect to iPhone. Re-pair 5+ through Garmin Connect. Try again.

FWIW I have 5S+ with iPhoneX and no problems

I'm having sync issues with the Garmin Connect mobile app, as well as connected to PC using Garmin Express with my Fenix 5 Plus this morning. My Garmin Index scale would not sync either. Maybe a server side issue with the Garmin Connect servers. I'm going to give it a few hours before I restore my Fenix with my original backup.

I was just going to post about this but might as well use this thread.
Just did a short walk of 3km, tracked it with the walk activity. My steps, heart rate and other info just synced fine to garmin connect but the walk itself doesn't show.

Let's wait and see.

Well, that 'splains my "Your Device Didn't Monitor Advanced Sleep Tracking" error I got this morning. Nothing changed, but apparently "their" side. We'll see in the morning.

Connect servers seem to be back up and running. Everything is working as should here.
