Experience with fenix 5 plus for paragliding

Wondering if anybody has experience with using the Fenix 5 (plus) for paragliding or during a jumpmaster activity?

I have noticed some weird behavior with measuring elevation, probably due to auto-calibration during activity (auto-calibration uses DEM and GPS data in the air, giving a false reading - the topic was mentioned here: https://forums.garmin.com/forum/on-the-trail/wrist-worn/fenix-5-5s-plus/1365378-altimeter-calibration-using-maps-data?p=1380338#post1380338). Is there a fix for this (i.e., disabling the use of DEM for auto-calibration during specific activities?)

In addition I was wondering if it is possible to export GPS height (i.e., uncorrected elevation) instead of altitude.

Thanks for suggestions.
