Mark on sapphire

Only visible when I breath on the lens.

Lens seems absolutely fine with no wierd light bending or other issues. Only when I wipe oils from my finger over the screen or breath on the lens.

Wipe it with a cloth and .... Gone.

Looks to me like you have grease or oil or wax or some similar substance on there that doesn't allow the moisture to form in that area. Since it isn't an actual mark on the glass, it disappears when you wipe the moisture off. If it really bothers you, I bet some rubbing alcohol or similar solvent would probably remove it.

I tried that. No luck.

It's quite odd. Literally cannot see it unless I breath on it. I wonder if it is on the inside. I feel that would be meanings very thin glass though.

Perhaps it just isn't as polished?
