Garmin received empty package

Hi team! I need your help!
I have a big problem with garmin Service in UK. I sent my fenix 5x plus back to Service because it had a problem. They received it and then sent me a message and told me that the package that they received was empty! They can't continue the rma and now I'm front of a big problem! I asked them to help me providing me more informations about the package (like weight of delivery of Royal mail). The shipping was registered. I believe that should not receive it if it was seemed empty!
I spoke with Hellenic post that I used to send the package to Garmin UK and they told me that need a proof of weight of the delivery from Royal mail when garmin received my package. And also they need to have the package back so to continue for investigation.
What could i do if the the garmin does not help me with this info and what next if the weight of the delivery is the same with what I sent??

  • Maybe I'm missing something here but all you should have to prove, IMHO, is what it weighed when it left your possession(aka mail reciept). When they introduced it into the system for mailing, they would have weighed it to tell you how much you would pay to ship it. Was it insured? If so, this should be something you can take up by filing a claim with your mail service.
    Royal mail(receiver) and Garmin UK should also have weighed the package at their facilities. So records should exist. But honestly, once you file a claim, that should be something those entities have to track down.
    I'm sure this is nerve wracking but they should all have trails on this package, along with when the weight changed to "empty".
  • I have all the documents that I could prove the weight when I shipped it, but my problem is that I could not continue for investigation by Hellenic post if the Garmin doesn't give the proof of weight when they received it and the empty package back to me. What could I do so?
  • So you need to ask Hellenic post where this package and info needs to be sent and how it should be marked (case number, etc?).
    Then ask Garmin to put the whole thing in another package and send it.
    Just get it done, the sooner the better.
