The Garmin specs say that the 5 with a silicone band fits wrists as small as 163. Mine is 158. Has anyone with such small wrists found that they can wear the 5? FWIW, I wear the 935 with a two piece NATO strap, which I find gives a bitter fit than silicone because it’s so flexible, and I’ve had no issues. I realize the 5 is nominally the same size as the 935, but the lugs are wider.
My wrists are 165, and I have opted for a 5S Plus. Particularly since I wear it all the time, it is a better size for me. It works well for running since it moves around less on the wrist and is less of a distraction due to its smaller size. Also, it can easily fit under a dress shirt sleeve.
Yeah, I had the 5S, but the battery was really annoying (I do about 2 hours of GPS per day and it lasted less than 48 hours without charging). I wear a dress watch most of the day, so cuffs aren’t a big deal, but I do sleep in my running watch so I can wake with a vibration alarm and let my wife sleep.
