Spotify sync

Hi
Is synchronizing Spotify playlists only possible over wifi?
At work I have only wifi-network with logon by username and password, and that is as far as I know not possible with my F5X+
Have no mobile either (working offshore) so I cant use my phone as hotspot.

Was hoping it should be possible to sync Spotify with USB connected to my laptop, but no luck so far. Any tips?

WiFi is the only way at present I’m afraid.

This will be driven by Spotify rather than Garmin, as it’s Spotify who have to be sure of the integrity of DRM. That’s much easier to do if there’s just software on the watch and a direct WiFi connection to the Spotify servers; as soon as it goes through a USB cable to another bit of software on a PC or Mac, there’s yet another thing to control and be a potential point of weakness.
