Fenix 5x Plus - 5.53 Beta Release

Hello Fenix 5x Plus users,

Note: Please allow for the updates to propagate across all servers. There is no need to post that the link does not work. It will after a bit of patience.

5.53 Change Log Notes:
  • Fixed an issue introduced in version 5.52 Beta that could cause high battery drain

Please note, the beta updates released on these forums are not suitable for APAC region devices.

    Hi All,

    Updated to 5.53 Beta, and now when going to Pulse Oximeter widget, a message comes up "Pulse oximeter version mismatch. Update software."
    Connect to Garmin Express... nothing available. Also did a hard reset... Pulse Ox widget still showing the same message.
    Any ideas what I should do now?


    When you install the beta, there are three different folders with separate sensor hub update file for each of the three 5 Plus variants. Are you absolutely sure that you took the file from the correct folder out of the three?

    Even if will be a new release it's not guaranteed they will fix battery meter issue, rather, knowing Garmin, i think it's very unlikely....

    I went to bed with 20% and woke up and the watch was dead.
